I would argue that true friendship is filling your tumblr with so many pictures of Lana Parilla that the other day I scrolled by one and was like “Man, Lana Parilla is really hot!”

Couldn’t have asked for a better ending.

To preface this, I teach reading to middle and high school students.
The other day, on pajama day, one of my favorite older students wore Captain America pajamas. He is gay and totally open about his sexuality and was talking about how much he loves Cap and Iron Man and calls both of them his husbands.
I took this moment to explain to him how there are tons of people on the internet who want those two in a relationship.
He was puzzling over what their relationship name was. “Iron America? …. Captain Iron? … Captain Man?” I actually had to diagram how Steve and Tony became Stony on my whiteboard for him to get it.
Cut to Friday, when it’s superhero spirit day on campus. I’m wearing my Cap shirt and my arc reactor lanyard from the Iron Man Marathon.
I was explaining to someone I was a combo of Iron Man and Captain America.
Said student yells out “MISS! YOU’RE STONY!”

Every time I take a Meyers-Briggs inventory and I see that question about planning, my exact feeling is “OH MY GOD NO! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?”
I am apparently so ridiculously logical I even get offended by hypothetical indecision.
